HiFi Deluxe:
- is a live music performance solely original compositions mixed together with two laptops.
- is suitable for lounge bars, clubs, dance events, corporate events, restaurants and private parties as well.
- can be supplemented by a sax player, a percussion player and a female vocalist.
- can be combined with various theater performances and the acts and music will be attuned to each other.
- brings a broad variety of styles and influences and sound familiar for a wide audience.
- brings a positive and pleasant sound and atmosphere and a positive vibe.
Ambient, Downbeat, Lounge, Jazz, Funk, Dance, Disco, Club, Rare-grooves, World.
Music is a vital part of an event and it really sets the atmosphere.
When people still are coming in, I usually start with ambient, downbeat or slow jazzy lounge and little by little
I will use tracks that have more of an ‘up-tempo’ character.
The performance can be supplemented by a saxophone/flute player, a percussionist and a female vocalist
and we can create several sets with those guest musicians.
I can provide for a program that lasts all night, but another option to chop the sets in several pieces
to give room to other acts or performances.
We also have a lot of theatrical acts and performances witch are very suitable and very good to combine with my music performance.
A musical and theatrical setup is adjustable.
Some examples:
- On behalf of a social network evening for industrialists we were asked to mix some industrial sounds in between tracks, so I wrote several new tracks and added those to the set.
- On behalf of a retail event the music for each set was tailored unit by unit and for each presentation, a signature tune was played to draw the audience’s attention to the speakers.
- On behalf of a theme night the sets were tailored in consultation and adapted to the themes of that evening.
- On behalf of a corporate event our theatrical performances were put in and we scheduled a variety of matching sets of music and performances.
- On behalf of an event with multiple performances by other artists, my sets were adjusted and I filled in the gaps between shows.
- On behalf of a fashion show I presented a program to fill the gaps between the various fashion shows.
This was a co-production of some of our own performances and a VJ.
We can offer a range of services to various needs.
It's even possible that musical themes or sound clips are created to be added to the sets, so that every performance is unique and tailored to the specific event.
After years of dedicating myself solely to my theater company and my theater performances,
the time was right for a return to ‘music’.
Music used to be my biggest passion and before I became a theater performer
I earned a livelihood in the music business for several years.
Past:
After more than 15 years working with theater performances I had the feeling that there was something missing. Before I started with theater performances I always played in bands as a bass-guitar player and percussionist and during that time we had record contracts with Casablanca Records, Side Records, Warner, Phonogram, radio broadcasts, notations in the charts and many, many gigs.
A few years later i started with producing experimental dance music with DJ/producer TTM.
At that time we were true pioneers and active with lots of people like; Extince, Traumatic, Marcello, MadDoc, Robob, Maguro, Funckarma, Peter Gijselaers and many more.
During that time music was the main thing in my life.
Present:
Now I am so far that I had my first try outs and gigs at some cultural events and restaurants
and I have more as enough tracks to fill in a whole evening and want to put myself more and more into marked.
As I said before HiFi Deluxe is suitable for lounge bars, clubs, corporate events, dance events, restaurants or private parties as well.
For lounge bars, restaurants and corporate or business events my goal is to create a nice and gentle atmosphere were people can communicate and meet each other and if suspected dance at the end of during the evening or night.
I am not the main thing, I am serving the event and tread people with beautiful, surprising and uplifting sounds, beats and atmospheres.
I like to combine my music with live musicians, performers and audiovisual arts to create a total atmosphere that really makes a difference.
Future:
In the spring of 2011 my first 2 compilations will be released under the titels HiFi Deluxe Compilation I and II.
